Essay Instructions: Write a paper in which you will incorporate the meme concept from Dawkins and the educational funding concept from Kozol. Identify the cultural memes that would have to be altered in order for Kozol?s solution to be accepted. Look at our approach to funding education as a paradigm.

A 'meme' (even in English, demonstrated on quality, disconnected and not to be mistaken for the same French) is a component of cultural connotation (illustration: an idea, a propensity, a data, a marvel, a demeanor, and so forth), reproduced and transmitted by the impersonation of the conduct of a single person by a group.

A field of study called memetics arose in the 1990s to explore the concepts and transmission of memes in terms of an evolutionary model. Criticism from a variety of fronts has challenged the notion that academic study can examine memes empirically. However, developments in neuroimaging may make empirical study possible.

It can be regarded as a highly reductionist view that memes are a meaningless metaphor, especially given that the subject of this essay, memes, by definition, is a meme within itself. It can be argued that the idea of memes, is a meme.
